1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website only-cad-models.com (the “Site”) or any of its services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Site or services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Only CAD Models (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Description of Services

Only CAD Models provides an online file conversion service that transforms STL (stereolithography) mesh files into STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product model data) CAD files using a deterministic, algorithm-based conversion engine. The service is available in both a free tier and a paid “Pro” tier.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use this service. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent to use the service.

4. User Accounts

Certain features require account registration. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful registration information.
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. File Uploads & Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all CAD files and STL models you upload to the platform. By uploading a file, you:

• Represent that you own the file or have the legal right to upload and convert it.
• Grant Only CAD Models a temporary, limited licence to store and process the file solely for the purpose of performing the conversion.
• Acknowledge our retention rules: free files become eligible for deletion 24 hours after completion; Pro files become eligible 24 hours after the first download request. Undownloaded files remain while Pro is active; the free rule applies when Pro ends. Periodic cleanup removes eligible files and may be delayed while the worker is busy. See the privacy policy for failed and pending jobs.

We do not use your uploaded files for machine learning, AI training, or any purpose other than performing the requested conversion.

You must not upload files that are unlawful, infringe third-party intellectual property rights, or violate any applicable export control laws.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose.
• Upload malware, viruses, or any other malicious code embedded within file uploads.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, databases, or other systems.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Site without written permission.
• Circumvent rate limits, quotas, or any technical restrictions.
• Resell or sublicense our service without a separate commercial agreement.
• Use automated bots to submit bulk conversion jobs without a commercial API agreement.

7. Pricing, Payments & Subscriptions

Free Tier: A limited number of free conversions are available per day. Free tier jobs are queued and may experience longer wait times.

Pro Tier: Pro subscribers receive priority processing, higher file size limits, and increased daily quotas. Pricing is listed on our Pricing page.

Payments: Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers. We do not store credit card information. All fees are stated in USD and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.

Refunds: Due to the digital nature of the service, all sales are final. We may issue refunds at our discretion in cases of documented service failure on our part.

Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

8. Advertising

Our Site may display third-party advertisements, including those served by Google AdSense and other advertising networks. By using our Site, you acknowledge that:

• Third-party advertisers may use cookies and tracking technologies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing activity. See our Cookie Policy for details.
• We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party advertisers.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or the Your Online Choices portal.
• Pro subscribers may experience reduced or no advertising at our discretion.

9. Our Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and the conversion algorithm — is the exclusive property of Only CAD Models or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times.
• The output STEP files will be geometrically perfect or suitable for any specific manufacturing purpose.
• Results will meet your specific engineering or design requirements.

You are solely responsible for validating output files before using them in any manufacturing, engineering, or commercial application.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Only CAD Models shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities — arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim or (b) USD $10.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the service immediately, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and applicable local jurisdiction. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
